Before founding Focused Learning Neuropsychology (FLN), Dr. Wochos spent many years as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at a large health care organization. During this time, Dr. Wochos frequently observed countless patients who were denied coverage for a neuropsychological assessment, or whose insurance plans were so restrictive that he couldn’t provide his clients with the tests they needed. This often left clients and/or their families frustrated and without the critical answers they sought.

The mounting pressure to restrict and limit the scope of evaluations led Dr. Wochos to critically re-evaluate the traditional insurance-directed service model. Dr. Wochos found it more and more difficult to conduct evaluations knowing that he might not be able to provide clients with the full scope of evaluation they genuinely needed. This ultimately led to the establishing Focused Learning Neuropsychology—where evaluations are conducted without compromise, and every client receives the most thorough and accurate assessment they deserve.

Unlike many testing practices that use junior-level technicians to administer neuropsychological tests, Dr. Wochos personally administers all the tests himself and meets with the client exclusively from start to finish.
