Dr. Gregory Wochos

Dr. Wochos holds a doctoral degree in School Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Neuropsychology, and a doctoral minor in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from the University of Northern Colorado. During his graduate training, Dr. Wochos received national recognition as a recipient of the Graduate Student Research Award from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) for his intervention research in Developmental Dyslexia. Dr. Wochos also completed the requirements to earn the Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification.


Dr. Wochos furthered his training in neuropsychology with a one-year Externship and one-year Internship in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Behavioral Psychology at The Kennedy Krieger Institute at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Building on this foundation, Dr. Wochos completed an intensive two-year APPCN accredited Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital and The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.


While living in the Washington DC area, Dr. Wochos gained additional experience providing one-on-one executive functioning consultation services to students ranging from elementary school through college. His contributions to the field include published peer-reviewed research in the area of Pediatric Brain Tumors and Executive Functioning, as well as a doctoral dissertation focusing on the remediation of Developmental Dyslexia in children.


Prior to establishing Focused Learning Neuropsychology, Dr. Wochos served as a Clinical Neuropsychologist for many years at a large health care organization. His professional dedication extended to roles such as the Lead Sports Neuropsychology Consultant for a college baseball team, showcasing his expertise in sports-related brain health.
